#WinOnLine Reviews VR
5 messages in this thread
There's an interesting and accurate review of Visual Reality that appears in
the latest issue of WinOnLine Magazine. This is required reading for any of
you who wish to learn more about our products. You can download the magazine
"WinOnLine REVIEW Issue #91" in the WUGNET forum, WUGNET News/Files Library
section.
I've also got to add that this issue is the first I've read of WinOnLine, and
was pleased with its content and readability. Finally an on-line magazine
designed to be read on line. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Um, that means they liked you, right? <G>

Ouch. Well, yeah, but there's no crime in that!
Actually if you read the article you'll see that it does pick at our scabs,
particularly some shortcomings in Visual Model, which, I hasten to add in the
same breath, is being upgraded in Mid-December to make it more bulletproof.
Looking forward to the next time you put me in my place <g>,

Hey, I know this doesn't qualify, but have you noticed that your renderer is
pretty darned fast? I was looking at another product (which shall remain
nameless) and noticed that it was very slow. To see how slow, I ran the same
DXF file through a couple of other renderers, including Renderize, and you guys
is smokin'.
p.s. What's the word on an upgrade from Simply3D? Will there be one?

Yeah, we smokin'. _And_ we do it under Windows!
We're a true 32-bit application running under Windows 3.1, 3.11, and that gives
us performance that you wouldn't expect otherwise.
