Sorry, Paul.
That's Level 6.
Let's put it this way. It's something you can't put your hands on.
Why don't you join Dave and I for a Byte over at John's Joint. Mssg.#136994
I'm buying.

Hi Kevin,
>> Sorry, Paul.

Let's see, at Level 4 you can't put your hands on people, at Level 5 you
can put your hands on people but can't put your hands on juicy info and/or
secrets, but at Level 6 you can do it all? I've been at Level 5 for nearly a
year, can I test out?
Actually, now that I'm no longer working (living?) at the residential
treatment center, I can't legally put my hands on anyone anymore. Can I do it
in public at Level 6?
Anxiously,
Paul S. -= Movin' up the ol' ladder =-
Mr. Sanford, *CRACK*
You ask: >> I've been at Level 5 for nearly a year, can I test out? <<
Paul, I think you may be ready for Level 6… but do you really wanna
change the name on all those business cards? <g> *ZING*
You say: >> I can't legally put my hands on anyone anymore. <<
>> Can I do it in public at Level 6? <<
Bummer, what happened? You get carried away? 🙂 *THWACK*
Lissen. You can do anything you want in public. Even now. DUCK! *PINNGG*
Just remember, that when you do something in public,
you run the risk of becoming the target of everyone who thinks you shouldn't.
You could end up getting stones thrown at you.
That's why I'm wearing this helmet and shoulder pads. *KRACK*
INCOMING! *SMACK* *CRACK* Ughhh! *THWACK* *ZIINGG* Whoahh!
You caught me "mutating in public" over at John's Joint.
I'm surprised you recognized me!
Maybe you shouldn't be standing here talking to me "in public.". <g>
Kevin *KABLAM* -= It's just a name…*KRACK*….=-

Hey, bigger, better, faster, stronger, more, more, MORE! This is
America.
Paul S. -= Elvis lives =-
* Maybe I should try Level 5.1 so no one's expectations are too high! <bg>

MEMO FROM [Level 13]
To: Mr. Paul Sanford [Level 5]
Regarding: Your interest in testing out and proceeding to a higher level.

Mr. Sanford,
We here on [Level 13] have reviewed your recent message #137860 to
Food for Thought, Inc., management of John's Joint, regarding your
ingenious use of mini-donuts, and have decided to reconsider your
request for moving up to a higher level.
You have superseded our expectations of someone operating at [Level
5.1]. In fact, your excellent sense of humor is evidence that you
should be considered for the Seventh Level. The question now before
us is as follows:
>>>> Do you wish to be promoted to [Level 6] or
would you like to join the gang at Seventh Level? <<<<<
Here is what you should consider before you answer the above
question: The gang at Seventh Level is totally warped. (So you
might fit right in.) They have published the CD-ROM, "Monty Python's
Complete Waste of Time." The material contained on the CD is a
compilation of the humor of Eric Idle, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam,
Chapman, Jones and Palin from "Monty Python's Flying Circus."
Gilliam's bizarre animations are in ample supply on the CD, and The
body of work excerpted from Flying Circus is as refreshingly funny
and unpredictable as the original show.
Seventh Level is located in Richardson, Texas. ( So you might have to
move.) The CD lists for $59.95 You can reach them at
1-800-884-8863
Mr. Sanford, we are aware that you no longer live at the treatment
center. A move two levels up and to the Lone Star State may be more
than you'd like to tackle at this time. Perhaps you should consider
checking into Fawlty Towers for a while, where you can give your
progression up the ladder further thought. In any event, we are
encouraged by your progress. And you are hereby granted permission
to move up to [Level 6] at any time you wish, without the need to
relocate. You'll still need to change the name on your business
cards and all of your stationery.
We, who are plugged into the universal mind already know what your
answer is. That's because we use Mrs. Do You Know the Way To San
Jose / That's What Friends Are For's Special 1-900 Number.
Regarding your question: "What if someone attacks me with a pointed
stick?" Our inclination would be to *POKE* them right back. Nudge,
Nudge, Wink, Wink, Say no more, Say no more…..

Dear LEVEL 13'ers:
I'm ready for LEVEL 6. However, I can't afford to have new
business cards printed up, so I'm going to be known as LEVEL 5+1 for
now. I will need to find out the new secret handshake.
Paul + 1
Dear PAUL + 1,
Regarding the secret handshake:
All is revealed in the struggle to find the Secret to Intergalactic Success.
If you are persistent, not only will you discover the handshake, but you may
win one of the Pentiums those crazy guys on the Seventh Level are giving away.
You'll have to solve the game on Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time.
And to do that you must first order the CD.
Of course, your secret decoder ring is a benefit of membership in NAAUG.
Now For Something Completely Different….
I hope you realize that once you've learned the secret handshake,
our future communications will have to be in code.
Your friends on [Level 13]
