This particular fly lives in an aquarium with a praying mantis, which can be
nerve racking. I want to animate the way flies wipe their heads
repeatedly with their front legs. Im working on the plants that go in the
aquarium. The aquarium is found in an 1890's inventors workshop
filled with magic lanterns and wierd electtrical gadgets. One of the gadgets,
that looke like a stereoscope shows animations. A long term
project for sure.
I would paticularly enjoy seeing some
of the people you mention have insect problems.

Fly and Mantis? I just found a mud wasp nest in my back shed hooked to
a board. I will have to start some aquariums for critters so I can study them
more closely. I'm doing a long animation using lots of IPAS's with insects. The
idea of bugging political prople is very attraactive. Maybe I could syndicate
in the newspapers. Such dreams! Gotta make a buck some day.
Sanford I am starting to video tape small creatures.
Should have a good collection by the summer. Lots of movement references are
needed.
