Does anyone have a clue why a rendering would quit during the creation
of procedural objects? No warning or error message is displayed. The
only procedural object in the scene is tuber, with instances. I have
had several successful renderings with the same file but no luck now.

This error often occures on Computers that have POWER.EXE or other
"energy saving" TSR's in their boot up files. Essentially, the
POWER.EXE program thinks the computer went to sleep. If that program,
or similar, are in your CONFIG.SYS and/or AUTOEXEC.BAT, then remove
them.
