Installing Release 2.01 of 3DStudio and when I try and execute the program, it gives me this error which states: cannot creat VM swap file of 0 bytes on E:\ Why is it looking at E:? Nothing there… Hard Drive is C, CD-ROM is D I looked at 3DSHELL and in the usage message it states: usage=shroom -s DRIVE:DIR what the heck is shroom??? Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks.

Did you install from the original disks, or copy the directories from a different machine? You need to redirect the swapfile to drive c:. Look it up in your installation guide, and see cfigphar.exe and cfigphar.doc in the 3ds* directory.
