Well – I installed OS/2 and like it a lot so far, but have big
problems with 3DS. When I try to run it in a full size window, it
runs very slowly indeed. When I try to toggle to OS/2 it comes back
fine but then 34DS D is lost when I toggle back. I heard that I have
to set something in the Pharlap driver to stop memory contentions,
and also that I should set up DPMI (whatever that is!!) Any
suggestions??? max1
I bought OS2 Warp and returned it after a 3 hour battle to get tech
support only to get some moron who didn't know (%$#%# and was just
reading off a computer database. I returned it when they couldn't
find an answer to my question. (All I wanted to know was if I could
use my network. I would think a simple question.) Anyway frustration
and anger set in and I returned the product.
Was I hasty or is the operating system worth using. Can you use disk
compression software? Will it work with Novell Netware Lite?
