I just posted in the Autodesk 3D Studio file area the file BLOB20.ZIP which is
Blob Sculptor 2.0. This program helps you model with blobs – it supports
spheres, cones and cylinders. It outputs to different formats. Read below!

P.S. I forgot to tell you it's FREEWARE.

Blob Sculptor (BS) is a computer graphics modeling program for IBM PCs
and compatibles. BS allows you to create unique organic shapes which
can be incorporated into your favorite graphics rendering program.
Using BS, you can create, position, and edit multiple blobs and their
components, preview their interactions, and output the result to such
formats as POVRay, PolyRay, and DXF and others.

WHAT'S NEW
——————–
Version 2.0 replaces Version 1.1a.
New and improved features include:
* An improved interface with both mouse and keyboard recognition.
* A new cone/cylinder-component type has been added
* Multiple blobs may now be created
* Maximum components limited only by amount of conventional memory available
* A faster preview mode
* Mouse-controlled camera positioning
* Components may now be created with manual specifications
* Screen redraws can be deactivated
* Surrounding densities can now be displayed
* Interactive adjustment of densities now color-cued to reveal
positive/negative status
* A blob status screen now reveals total components and blobs
* File loads/merges now performed by mouse selection of directory files

I just searched the library and could not find blob20.zip.
It takes a day or two to get on-line.

I posted it on the weekend so you may have to wait until Monday. I'm not sure
the ADESK sysop works on weekends <g>.

Thanks! Please keep me posted on what types of applications you use it for.
I've heard of a lot of people using it but they never tell me anything 🙁
If you have a chance check out on GraphDev the images done with it – I've seen
mostly cartoon characters, dogs, witches, babies, etc… you name it.
