Blade Runner #1, Aliens #2, followed in no particular order by Preditor 1,
Terminator 1, Star Wars 1 (for the f/x, at the time)
Highlander 1 was fantasy (and I liked it alot) highlander 2 was one of the
worst movies I have seen. Ladyhawk was good fantasy..
Outland was pretty good. I kinda liked They Live (carpender's remake) but I see
why you don't like it.. The END of both Abyss and TR was to Happy and
unbelievable, of course in TR he may still be locked into his virtual trip..
which makes the unbelievable stuff better.
Like Alien alot too.. Alien 3 on the other hand, poor!..
of course you must be informed that I really like "Dark Star" and Evil Dead 3,
army of darkness.. So you have to scale my opinons by these added facts..
StarGate was a new movie idea.. Liked it. Puppet Masters was good, but just had
something missing. (also do they have to hatch like Alien?)
I want my escapism movies to be violent and full of action ( not to mention
sharon!) What Can I say? Guess I was twisted by all of those Violent Bugs
Bunny/ Road Runner cartoons I saw when I was a kid <G>! (had to buy Jerasic
Park, despite it's anti-technology windging math professer).

You shouldn't be telling people you want violent escapism, Tom. Before
long you'll be arrested and executed for being a violent, abusive man, and
then Arnold will be shut down when you say you were influenced by him!
(And just think what will happen to poor Chuck Jones!)

That WOULD be bad.. Hate to see Arnold be put away cause of me! ( alas I ain't
an violent guy, I just am an action film junky! As for chuck, If someone wanted
to do him in, an falling anvil would be appropreate, but he would probably just
get up again making accordion type noises and keep going!<G>

I read the book.. I don't remember an egg anology.. They were using a master
cell and creating Slug like creatures, I thought.. The eggs (with shell and
all) looked just like ALIEN's.. Thats not what I remembered (I could be wrong,
I haven't read it in a while<G>.. If you say they were eggs I will believe you!
and take back the critism!)
