Not just presidents hereafter, a previous president said that appearance
contributes to political reality. And not just presidents either, any person
appearing before a public of any sort has to contend with appearance.
Was it Clark who said that reality is not only as strange as we can imagine,
but that reality is stranger than we can imagine?
Just rambling!

Actually, the quote was from J.B.S. Haldane, a British astronomer, and
goes: "The universe is not only queerer than we imagine, it's queerer than
we can imagine." Clarke liked quoting that.
"The universe is not only queerer than we imagine, it's queerer than we
can imagine."
That would make a great T-shirt.
Blaq!
I think I've already seen a T-shirt with that printed on it… 🙂
