Thanks for the suggestion. And thanks to all the others who offered
suggestions too. I followed up on all of them.
Apperently, Micro R&D has found that their power supplies do not function with
all the towers. They reported that no problems have been found with regular
A3000s.

There is a place here in NJ that repairs PC power supplies for PC retail
