#Flyer Tweaks
2 messages in this thread
Hi Forrest-
Looked into your discovery about the Flyer Tweaks screen, and got some
quick response from Newtek tech support. It seems that screen was used by
their engineers for adjusting values in the chips on the Toaster and Flyer
cards. By saving different values, a Toaster or Flyer card could be
rendered inoperable. Where even a dealer couldn't restore it. The official
word is "opps – you weren't supposed to find out about that". Hope you
haven't had any problems.
Also discovered that the digitize input option "Main Output" will be fully
activated with 4.0 and allow the user to make clips from the Toaster's
Program output. The signal will NOT be converted to analog first, but
transfer directly to disk in digital form. Lossless layering.
Finally, Newtek will be providing dealers a program designed to test a
disk for Flyer certification. If the disk passes, you can use it on a
Flyer SCSI for video clip save and play.
Keep on Flyin'
Hank
Videology, Inc Where you get all the P.O.M.P. under all
circumstances.
That disk sounds nice, cant wait to receive it.
