Hi James, The routine Dust_i.axp is a routine sold through Schreiber Instruments. This routine is in the Imagine Fractal Bouquet disk set. The price is 200.00 for this set. This is a routine with strange attractors built into it. Meaning not one dust particle will touch each other, giving you a realistic dust effect. If you have any question please ask, and I'll be happy to answer. If you would like to talk about this more in-depth. You can call me at (714)-839-2384 . I'll try to get the effect with the IPAS, I have, and I'll see what happens. Thanks for your reply and hope to hear from you soon. Mike White Here is a brief a description of the routine. DUST.AXP – Animated Dust Particle Generator, Overview : Generates a particle system 'dust storm' complete with the ability to squash the particles, change the radius and extents, and change the axis of rotation. Dialog Description : Number of Particles : Total number of particles for the effect. Orbit Period (Frames) : Number of frames that it takes for each particle to orbit 360 degrees. Obj/Part Size Ratio : Takes the size of the Object used for this routine and divides it by this number to obtain the size for each particle. Maximum Orbit Radius : Maximum Radius a particle may be from the center. (particles will be distributed from the center to this point) Random Number Seed : Change this to get a different initial state for the particle positions. Orbital Chaos : Amount of chaos (in frames) to add to the orbit of the particles. Particle Chaos : Amount of chaos to add to the positions (and the centers they rotate around) of the particles. Particle Squash Factor (%) X: – Percentage to Squash each particle along the X axis. Y: – Percentage to Squash each particle along the Y axis. Z: – Percentage to Squash each particle along the Z axis. Object Extents Scale Factor (%) X: – Percentage to Scale each particle along the X axis. Y: – Percentage to Scale each particle along the Y axis. Z: – Percentage to Scale each particle along the Z axis. Rotation : – direction in which the particles rotate around the center. (Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise) Rotation Axis : – Axis upon which the particles spin around.(X,Y or Z) Use Chaos on X : Applies the Particle Chaos setting to each particle's location along the X axis when set to YES. Use Chaos on Y : Applies the Particle Chaos setting to each particle's location along the Y axis when set to YES. Use Chaos on Z : Applies the Particle Chaos setting to each particle's location along the Z axis when set to YES.
