Hello, At the risk of sounding like an idiot………………..what is the policy and/or proper etiquette on reselling 3DS r2 after the original serialized diskette has been sent in for an upgrade? Will a copy of Disk 1 suffice, or is this frowned upon? My confusion stems from the fact that I was surprised to see used copies of 3DS fore sale on this forum in the first place, but I assume that those selling have upgraded themselves, thus selling with a copy of Disk 1. I just don't want to do anything illeagle or immoral so I thought I would check here first. Thanx, Tim

Tim, Once you've submitted your software for upgrade, that's it. You no longer have a valid license on the previous version, and it is not saleable. In fact, it is mucho illegal to do so. You can, however, sell your upgraded copy, utilizing a License Transfer Agreement from Autodesk or your dealer. Kevin Krell – Computer Support Associates
