#How Bout A Nice Round!!!
3 messages in this thread
Ive read through a few messages left by some users who are complaining that
they get NO help!! Well a few weeks ago I needed help with the Canon PJ1080a
Color printer paper.. I received no less than 5 replys within 24 hours!! Thats
sure not a lot of help!! C'mon give these guys a break!! Well now its my turn
to help someone else!! The paper can be bought at (This is the paper that comes
with the canon printer.. gives ya a very nice picture.. the best results of
all) Call Net Calcualtor Systems at; 516-488-6700 and ask them for product
number JP-216-H Make sure you specify the "H" as this stands for Heavy.. The
price is $30 for a package of 4 rolls They will either mail you the package or
if you are in the N.Y. area you can pick it up in person. I am having absolutly
NO problems with Amy and the Canon (hmmm maybe a TV series in the works
there???) and think for $199 its the best color printer buy ANYWHERE!! If any
one needs the driver for this printer here in the U/D section… And lets just
say thanks to those who took the time to help!
Jaime,
Thanks for the info!
Don
Jamie,
Thanks for the comments and the kind words. I'm constantly bragging about you
folks to anyone and everyone who will listen, and I don't doubt one bit that
I've made a few CIS _and_ Amiga converts because of the support I've explained
is here.
Interestingly, I left a comment to one fellow who remarked that he never got
any help mentioning a few things NOT to do. One of these was an example
request for information which effectively asked someone to do this hypothetical
user's programming for him, and I commented that this sort of request almost
_guarantees_ that you won't get a reply.
Well, one of our forum members didn't read the whole thread, and thought I was
asking for exactly that help, and when I logged on _next morning_, there was a
message from him, offering to assist me! You guys are fantastic.
I truly hope that those people who feel no one wants to help them reads your
posting. And thanks for caring!
Nybbles,
Rick
