Has anyone else had this experience? If you move a drawer into the RAM: disk
using workbench (not CLI) under 1.2 , and then try to delete (discard) it by
selecting it and then selecting discard from the workbench menu, the system may
do one of three things. 1) Crash off to see the Guru 2) Give an error message
216 (Directory not empty) at least I can deal with that. 3) Nicely delete the
drawer and say nothing more about it.
It seems that the ram: disk was only tested in the cli which behaves fine. Item
3 only happened once and the drawer may have been empty at the time.
1 and 2 occur about 50-50.
Yes, that has happened to me, except I didn't know what error 216 was. The
AMIGADOS Error Message section (Appendix B) of the Intro to the AMIGA skips
over 216. I then went into the directory under CLI and manually deleted the
contents of the directory, and still could not delete the drawer from the
workbench. Oh well…
