Richard, I have noticed all of the music programs which have to be used with Music Studio. Are there any music programs in the DLs that do not require a music program. Also are there any music programs for Instant Music by EA. I have that program and would like to add to the set of songs that came with the program. Thanks for the help. —–dave

Dave, The files in the Audiophile DL are not "programs" per se; they are in fact data files. As such, these files _must_ be used with a music program (Music Studio, in this case) to be useful. Though I have not scanned the music DLs in the last week or so, I am not aware of any stand alone _music_ programs, with a few special exceptions. We do have some BASIC programs which play their own preprogrammed music, some programs to generate special effects and noises, and a sound digitizer demo. Instant Music is a tricky case, since you are limited by the built-in programmed structure as to what can be composed, and I am not aware of any IM files in our data bases. Keep in mind that there are now _two_ audio DLs… one for data files (music and instruments) and one for programs. Be sure to check them both when looking for interesting material! Nybbles, Rick
