#Dead?

Modula-2 is NOT dead!!! So what if some time there is a lull in the
conversation? That only means that everyone is doing well and has no
outstanding questions.
There are currently more M2 compilers for the Amiga than C compilers.
Hopefully they'll catch on. So please keep this section going.
Down with C. Long Live M2!

Hear, Hear. It is great that there is a Modula-2 section here on Amigaforum,
and I agree that M-2 will catch on. There is a very active (albeit small)
group of M-2 programmers on Plink as well, and it would be a shame to force all
the m-2 action off this board.

Hey, no, we would never "force all the M2 action off this board"!
Realize that M2 is the only language with it's own message section. There was
a very good reason why that happened, and that reason evaporated shortly after
the section was set up. Steve is simply trying to decide if this section can
be better used for another subject. M2 users wouldn't be forced off; they'd
just go back to using the Programming subtopic, just like the AmigaBasic
programmers and the C programmers and the Assembly programmers and all the
other programmers do.
In other words, Don't Panic. 8)

If there is some pressing need for this area, then I could go along with losing
it. On the other hand, having to read headers and press CTRL-O to skip
messages is tedious. On the other other hand, it might be good for me to HAVE
to read messages about BASIC and C.
