FYI The assembler that comes with the MANX C compiler package for the Amiga
does not support the OFFSET or SOFFSET directive. This directive causes the
Lattice C compiler to create as 'offset table' in memory during the assembly
process and will automatically perform EQUATES to all the labels you have
established within the table region. Wherever you see a STRUCTURE or STRUCT
label in an include file, this is the beginning or part of an 'offset table'.
At this point you have to figure the offsets by hand and perform EQU's within
your program.
A good example of this problem is in the ROM Kernel manual, Okimate_20 code,
init.asm
in the _open segment the offsets created to look into Preferences and the
offsets created to store the Render address are both created with an 'offset
table'. An aside here for anyone looking at this code for the first time,
notice that the _expunge code will fall on thru to the _open code. This ain't
supposed to be.
