All you Benchmark Modula-2 owners. Let's start an phone-in campaign to OXXI to
push them to get their act together and put out the final release of Benchmark.
How about one call a week?….what do you think guys …..Richie

Good idea about calling Oxxi. Of course, there seems to be some question of
ownership, etc. Leon was on a CO here recently and said Oxxi has no right to
continue selling BM. And they can hardly put out a final release without his
help (he has all the source, the docs, and the knowledge). So, unless they can
work out their differences, Oxxi will have no way to do it–unless I guess the
can hire some other Modula guy to do it, which seems very unlikely.
When I called to order BM (about a month ago) I was given no assurance of when
the final release would come, but I WAS left witht he impression that it would
NOT be before January. So, as far as my personal case is concerned, they have
not yet disappointed me.
But if a phone call can encourage them to get together with Leon and make
offeres that will be fair to both parties and stick to those, then I am all for
it. I will call sometime next week and ask what the status is.
On another note–thanks for all the programs you have placed in the PD. I
hope to understand them some day.

The problem is that OXXI doesn't have the final version — Leon does and isn't
currently considering giving it to OXXI. Contact Leon for further details.
