Dave, this is pretty much beside the point, but I think it might be wise to change your handle to either "Dave Haynie" or "Dave Haynie/CBM", or something like that, before launching into these discussions… I don't want you to get in trouble with CBM management for appearing to represent the company! Just be sure to change the handle back on the way out. Don't you agree? (Keep it up, thought!! Love your input!) – Bela * Reply: 8714

Yup, you be right. I used to do that regularly, but when Higgy started using this SIG he'd throw a major tantrum if the name wasn't "Commodore". Now that he's gone, especially, I'll make it a point to change it (my name). I think Von is the only other CBM person regularly on this SIG, but I could be wrong. Anyway, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Dave Haynie, a CBM Engineer NOT affiliated with the Amiga project, though these days I've been writing programs on the Amiga almost exclusively. At CBM I work on what some of you old timers might recall, 8-bit computers. The opinions expressed here are my own well-informed opinions, not necessarily having anything to do what-so-ever with those of Commodore, though I think that most Commodore people agree with my opinion on the Amiga computer. -Dave Haynie

Paul Higgenbottom is gone? You mean not active here any more, or gone from CBM? – Bela
