Dave, Two people have brought me machines that they tried to do the Amazing Computing 1 meg upgrade with your autoconfig mod. I have done quite a few of these myself and seldom have any problems. I was able to get the machines with the memory still at 80000H working OK but both WCS boards have problems and I would appreciate any suggestions. A. Board 1 – The owner tried to convert it back to normal operation and it looks like he remade all the connections OK, however the WCS board is completely dead. When you power up the power LED lites but does not blink. Voltages to the board seem OK. Screen stays black except for initial flash (if you turn briteness up, the screen does have sync and raster) B. Board 2 – Still has your mod and all connections check out OK. Power LED lites but does not flash. After about 5 secs the screen comes up with a series of multicolor horiz. lines rolling vertically thru the screen like it has lost H-Sync. After a few secs the screen goes kinda dark purple and starts alternating back and forth between these two screens. Occasionally, an off-white color screen is thrown in for good measure. Both of these machines work OK with good WCS boards plugged in. Any help or suggestions you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Later, Greg
