#TURBO PASCAL FOR AMIGA?

I am looking for a way to transfer by Borlan Pascal files created on a IBM-PC
compatiable to the AMIGA. Borlan start to release a Pascal complier a while
ago. Does any one have any suggestions on how to transfer my BOrlan 3.0 pascal
files to the AMIGA and then recompile them? If there is a way I could really
help my buddies with their AMIGAS.

Mike,
Transfering the files is the easy part. A NULL MODEM CABLE and two
terminal programs will do it, as will a program like DISK-TO-DISK (or was it
DOS-TO-DOS?) with the Amiga 5 1/4" drive. I think even 1.2 came with some
utilities to transfer PC type files from the 5 1/4" drive.
The hard part will be compiling them. Borland has YET to release Turbo
Pascal for the Amiga. I guess it's one of those "don't hold your breath"
situations.

He would want DOS2DOS. DISK2DISK was the C64 converter.

It's DOS-2-DOS, and I recommend it highly; a carefully done, useful program.

I agree with your assesment. I just couldn't remember which-was-which
at the time. If you need file transfer to IBM or Commodore 8 bit formats, these
are very good products.

Mike: You can run Turbo Pascal (IBM Version) on the Amiga with Transformer.
It's slow but it will work. Just don't try to do graphics. I don't know if
that is what you had in mind but it is one way to go.
