Hey gang,
This is probably wishful thinking but …. can the Amiga 1000 monitor work
with EGA for the PC? It, of course, would be real nice if it would considering
that it would save me about $600 for a new monitor.
Anybody out there tried this?

Ken,
The Amiga monitor can't do EGA graphics, which are a variation on the
DIGITAL RGB that CGA uses. It *might* be able to do the newest VGA, but in that
case it would be worth your while to try to sell the Amiga monitor and get one
of the newer multisync monitors that could be used with any of the PC modes, as
well as the Amiga. I think Magnavox has one that can be purchased for about
$500.
