George, The prints I've seen from the Xerox looked great, but for some reason the Diablo C-150 driver had to be used. Maybe there was a problem with the Xerox driver and the higher resolution that the Xerox is capable of. Lloyd

Lloyd, The reason the Xerox 4020 requires the Diablo C-150 driver is probably because the dip switch on the back of the 4020 is set for C-150. I don't remember which one it is, but one switch selects either C-150 or 4020 emulation. The 3 units I have seen all came from the factory with C-150 set. Later, Greg

Greg, That would do it! The store that had the Xerox probably didn't check the manual very well. But even in C-150 mode, the output is NICE. I sure would like to hear from someone who could do a "head to head" print test between the Xerox and the HP PaintJet. The Specs on the Xerox are better while the HP is a little less expensive and supposedly easier to maintain. Thanks for the "tip". Lloyd
