Has anyone noticed anything peculiar with the sound coming out of the A2000? Mine seems to have annoying background high frequence sounds with the music. Once you notice it, it is easy to pick up. Is this normal, or should I have the Amiga serviced? Thanks, John G. Ata \ex

John, I haven't noticed it with my A2000…but don't play much music on it anyway and use an external stereo amp for the sound, not the monitor. Don

For whatever its worth, do you think he ran some code that turns off the filter (thus letting higher freqs + harmonics thru)? Ron

Ron, When you turn the filter off, you also turn the panel power LED off, so it would be obvious. Don

Don, I've been using the filter with DMCS, and it turns the power LED to half brightness, not off completely. Jeff

Jeff, There are apparently several things you can do with the filters, perhaps depending on how you set the filter, you turn it 1/2 down or all the way down. I know that some programs do turn the LED off, such as Arachnoid. Don
