Squeaky drive fix?

I have an Amiga external drive which gronks and groans during most disk activity (if you listen closely you can hear it from where you are). I've purchased some greaseless lubricant from an electronics house to try to fix this but I'm unsure about exactly where to apply the stuff. I recall reading a description of why these drives make so much noise and where the lubricant should go, but this was close to two years ago and I've forgotten the details. Can anyone give me an idea of how to go about lubricating the thing? Thanks in advance. Bill Christens-Barry

Bill, The most likely area is the rails that the head sliders run on. be careful of where the goop goes, and be sparing with it. Regards, Larry.
