Joergen, if you've got more specific information about what chip that is, I'm interested… I would never dare to take a soldering iron to my machine myself, but I've got a friend who does it for a living. (The ribbon cable doesn't seem >that< long… less than a foot from end to end. I guess the timing's really critical). >Bela<

The timing is endeed critical Bela, which is part of the problem of trying to provide a workable passthrough. Regards, Larry.
