Yes, it is an AMi-forum. The next full-blown AMiExpo is in march, here in NYC at the (reprehensible) Mariott Marquis (the hotel on the Helen Hayes.Morosco theatre sites) ANyway, I can come out of the closet and say I've had Zoetrope since July and it is far and away the best animation program for amiga. It does a lot to help you synchronize your drawings and digitizations with each other. Thus the movement of the images is really good. Even though I get great results from SCulpt-3d using its tweens , you can actually laugh at a Zoetrope animation, which can take a half minute to run or so without your having to surrender the machine to rendering for a week. The color handling in the requesters is the very finest – it selects the closest colors to black, white and red when it re-renders the requester, instead of just zapping a few registers (which distorts the map as in Fantavision). most of the drawing modes work effortlessly together. My main wishes are not for overscan and interlace and highres (although they would be nice, they eat memory) but for the blend and spread tools from dpaint, which are crucial for making my kind of drawings. As it is now, I import Dpaint pictures when I want to do that kind of stuff, but flipping between the two images is tough to make a connected whole (Dpaint III is supposed to have real page flipping??) It also is a memory pig, and craps out with the sam error Stan Kalisher mentions when you grab all of Amiga's memory . This attitude also has an adverse effcect on font-loading (it goes to chip ram). Also Also, I left a message in the CYber connection section, but it seems the messages havent changed for months! the forum software is funny over there as well. Anyway, I'll upload a few muybridges, dancing girls and whatever in the near future.
