Did you folks really find and squash the IFF mapping bug? I received a disk from you last Thursday that I assumed contained the bug fix. Sorry to say, I still get the mirrored images when mapping brushes to objects. I'm following the instructions you gave me back in November but to no avail. To reiterate: I create a sphere of size 100, add an axis sized 200z 320x. Place the axis at -100x -100z and 0y. Select brush coloring under Attributes with the axis selected. Load the brush image to be mapped to the sphere. Group the axis as parent to the sphere. Cluster the axis/sphere so the sphere takes on the properties of the axis. Set brush wrap to wrap x wrap z. Create another axis called spin, set the story on spin so that it turns 360 degrees on the z axis over the life of the animation. Group the spin axis to the brush/sphere group with the spin axis as parent. Back out to the film strip, create 8 frames, set the key cell as source, use story, all 8 frames as target. Under options, set zone to render only the sphere to save time, use solid modeling instead of ray tracing to do likewise. Make Scene. When the scene is finished, load movie and view…… the IFF image mapped to the sphere looks like this. imageegami The version of Turbo found under About is 3.0A dated Oct1 The filesize of the version I received is 259268 The filesize of the version it replaced was 259248

Keith – something else dawned on me here… Instead of putting the axis at -100 "X", try putting it at dead 0 "X" and -100 "Z". then you MUST SPECIFY WRAP "Z". Try that and let me know. I just tested it in the FP version, and it worked fine. BTW we did not update the version number or creation date, as this was just a minor big fix. We update the version numbers only when we add more junk to the program.
