Is it possible that C=A really, really has learned its lesson, and is not
going to announce the A3000 until it's ready to ship? It seems to me that
the two A2000-bundles announced in Germany last year, which C=A said would
not be available in the US for a while, _were_ available in Germany and
took quite a while to become available in the US, just like they said! The
A2000 spent so much time in secret rooms at various trade shows, in various
incarnations, that eveyone knew something about it and everyone got to be a
little bit wrong. Maybe they're not going to do that with the A3000.
CBM has said they have learned their lesson. They claim they won't
announce any product unless they will be on the dealer's shelves within 90
days of the announcement. To be on the shelves in 90 days, that means that
not only does all the engineering work have to be 100% done, but FCC
approval must be in hand. The only thing left would be to setup and run a
production line.
