Thanks for your message! It jogged my memory to look for their ad in an old issue of Amazing Computing. I had ordered some other software from them last year. Anyway they claim it'll transfer any IFF except HAM to the Targa sys. He said that modem transfer of the converted file was not reliable so it is best to convert on the Amiga and dump to a 5.25" disk and hand carry to the host machine at the studio. I dont know about that cuz I've transferred lots of graphic data 'glitch-free'. But anyway it got me lookin' for those early Amiga 1020 disk drives which are now pretty scarce, it seems. Know of a supplier? BTW the product is called ATI-LINK and sells for $50. Thanks again for the lead.

It *is* just a one-way transfer program, isn't it? Amiga TO Targa only. It would be much more useful *to me* if it would also transfer data from Targa TO Amiga format.

It is just 1 way. That is, Amiga to Targa. I agree that a transfer the other way would be mighty fine, but for a current job I have going it would be handy to do the "rough" stuff in o'scan hi-res and then take to the studio and have a quick starting-point to fine tune the art with more colors. Wish there was something in the public domain I could use immediately…
