The corona wire (not associated with a fine Mexican beer) is situated underneath a strand of guide wire that straddles a rectangular channel in a diagonal manner. Open up your printer, remove and store the OPC, and look straight down into the bowels of the device. You'll see the diagonal guide wire over the channel. If you look real close you'll see the single corona wire running from one side of your printer to the other in the channel. If you look even closer you may see portions of this wire gunked with black toner. Carefully use a q-tip of air-gun to clean this wire. Be very careful. The results of your effort will be almost immediately apparent the next time the 890 prints. Also, 890 OPC's tend to get "full" after 5000 or so copies and cause smudging/extra toner on the right left side of the paper (right side of the printer area inside. Hope this helps…
