Hello! I have a suggestion that you probably already have heard, but I thought
I would make it anyway.
On a future upgrade of Scribble!, I'd like to see some way to stop the Print
function. I have used the mail merge with Scribble! 2.0, and find that if
there is a problem with my output to the printer, I can't stop the system from
comleting the entire mail merge file. I've tried to turn off the printer; I
receive a message that there is a problem with the printer and to check the
printer and cable, with two responses: Resume and Cancel. If I click on
Cancel, the program continues anyway. It did the same thing with Resume.
Is there some way to do multitasking with Scribble while a document is being
printed? It seems that it locks up the system completely for me. That would
be a welcome addition as well, if it can be done.

By the way, I really like Scribble! It's superior to the mainframe word
processor I use at work (IBM PROFS).
One other item on my wish list: that you add a hyphenization capability. Do
that, and you've got a word processor to contend with.

Thanks for the suggestions. The ESC key should work to abort the printing.
If your printer has a buffer of any size, the printer will continue to print
until the buffer is empty. Either way, after pressing the ESC key you should
be able to turn the printer off to stop printing.
Try that and let me know how it goes. To do multi-tasking with Scribble!
enter RUN SCRIBBLE! from CLI or go back to Workbench and load another copy (if
you have enough memory). Right now Scribble! can't print and let you edit a
document at the same time. We've had requests to change it, so we'll keep
forwarding them to R&D.
