I recently purchased the new AE DL2000 internal modem. The modem works fine. The problem is the computer will no longer boot up when turned on and the hard drive lock up when using the modem and accessing the hard drive at the same time. When I first turn the computer on the green hard drive light comes on and the computer is locked up. If I wait a minute or two and reboot with the three finger warmboot the computer comes up normally. I have the old CLtd Kronos HD controller. The controller worked fine before I added the modem. I have the DEVSETUP file for the Kronos set to NoDisable_IRQ which is the setting for modem use. I am not sure what else to try. It almost seems partially heat related as far as the cold boot goes. If I pull the Kronos card the computer seems to cold boot normally. The GURU I have been getting is 00000004.00001970. Any help/suggestions wanted. Thanx, Norm

Norm, You don't happen to have an ACCELERATED Amiga, do you? I purchased an AE Ram board for my A2000 & 68020 card, and my computer wouldn't boot at all. AE recalled the boards and installed a jumper that fixed the problem. I got my money back before I knew that – and bought someone else's Ram board. Anyway, it sounds like it might be something their Modem board is doing wrong. You might want to talk to them. Lloyd
