Hello,
I've been having a deuce of a time trying to get a recent Psygnosis
release, AWESOME, to operate properly. The company has been _very_ helpful
in trying to get me a disk that will read in my internal floppy drive, but
so far to no avail. I have a large collection of software in all kinds of
readable form, some copies of master disks, some copy-protected disks, some
packed lightly with data, some full of heavily compressed data. None of the
rest of it is any problem to read in drive DF0: It's been suggested that
perhaps my internal drive is very slightly out of alignment, which may
indeed be the case. I'd rather not have to drop another hundred dollars
_just_ for this one piece of software, though. Are there any utilities
which in fact work at home (without an oscilloscope), like Free Spirit's
Ami Alignment, which you all would recommend? Or should I just give up and
wait for the CDTV version of this game? Any help or opinion would be
appreciated, thanks!
