Does anyone know if there are any problems with GVP's 50mHz '030 board? The
set-up it will be going into is an A2000 with a Hardframe/100mg Conner
drive. I'm concerned that it won't be very stable…but I'm also intrigued
by the raw speed of the unit. Any feedback would be helpful in deciding on
the purchase. Thanks.
This is strictly hearsay but I have heard from 2 separate, ususally
reliable sources, that they have alot of problems trying to keep the things
running somewhere under the melting point of lead. Said you could almost
fry an egg on the top of the case. Apparently 50 mhz is really pushing this
beast.
Remember this is all hearsay.
