This question is posed to anyone at all. Very simple. I created a simple scene with Imagine V1.0. It was a mirrored sphere set slightly above a ground. The ground was assigned the Check texture. I placed the camera and four different colored lights. Now the problem. When the scene was generated, there was everything, but the ground was just a bunch of black white and grey specs. The neat part was the check pattern appeared on the mirrored sphere around the bottom, nearest the plane. What's the deal? Help!

Andrew, I had a similar problem. Look on page 4 of the sheets that tell you all about the textures, two paragraphs above BRICKS. If the term digital bounce makes sense to you, congratulations, you're a better man than I. Anyway, go back into the texture setting requester, select edit axis and rotate it a little bit. If that doesn't work tilt it again so its off kilter on two different axis'. Bill Carey Bill Carey – via Whap!

Well, I'll give it a shot. Thanks! Andrew – via JrComm! 8)

Andrew, it sounds like you had blending set too high on the ground OR you need to raise the axis for the texture just slightly above the ground plane (this is done in the Attributes requester). One or the other solution will work. –Rick

Thanks! I finally got it to work. Also fixed my glass problem. My fault, not Imagines! Thanks for a great piece of software! Later, Andrew
