I have a couple of questions about Music-X protocols. I haven't been able
to get long bank dumps to work. I'm reasonably sure the protocol is
correct, but I keep getting numerous data errors when it tries to receive a
long (64K) sys ex data dump. I have heard there's a bug in version 1.1 of
Music-X which affects sys-ex transmissions. Is this the cause of my
problem? Is there an update or a fix in the works, and how can I get it.
I'm considering doing an article on writing Music-X protocols for Amazing
Computing, so I'd like an answer as soon as possible. Obviously if Music-X
can't do bank dumps, the sys-ex features are really limited. Phil Saunders
