My ten year-old uses a typing program for the Apple IIGS called "The
Wonderful World of Paws" at his school. At home, he has an Amiga 500 (a
year or so old) with 1 Meg of memory. Does anyone know if they make a
version for him? If not, are there other typing programs available for
kids?
Also, I noticed in a store that many labels say "requires kickstart V1.2 or
higher." I don't use an Amiga (yikes!), so I don't know what this means.
Last, can anyone tell me a software store in the West L.A./ Santa Monica
area that has a good selection of Amiga software?

If your Amiga is only one or two years old, it will have either Kickstart
1.2 or more likely, 1.3. It has been a LONG time since any were made with
the earlier versions.
I really don't know about the typing programs for kids, so I hope someone
else will help you with that one. Also, I live in the Dallas area, and
will have to leave your question about stores to someone in that area.
