How about an option on LC, LC1, LC2, LC1B that will cause all of the options being used for this compile to be displayed/listed/printed. Also this would be nice on BLINK too. Be sure to display all of the options used for this run, not just the ones that were present on the command line. Often, when I look at at a listing for a compile/link done several months/weeks days/hours(!), I can't remember what options I used to compile/link with. It sure would be nice to have them as part of the listing. This is especially important, since options now can come from the command line, an lmkfile, lse options, and SASCOPTIONS.

This is a useful idea. When generating a listing it is certainly possible, but for general compiler output people are pushing us to be more quiet about what we are doing (takes up less lines on the screen). An option seems like a good idea, I will see what can be done – please note that there are some things that will be going on in the next generation that will make it harder to specify things in a text form as we move more to the integrated environment approach.
