I think you are incorrect.. If I boot from my wb 1.3.2 disk the alias
command works but if I boot from my boot floppie Alias no workie!!!!

It's possible, I've been wrong before once or twice. 😉
Are you certain that your boot floppy is loading WB 1.3? There is no
actual command called alias, though – it's a built-in. (Looking for
possible reasons here -) Are you still in the boot CLI when you try to
alias? It might not work in the boot CLI, since it would be CON: rather
than NEWCON:. (I can't reboot right now to check it out.)
