Bela, FAKE…FAKED… I'm ashamed <grin>.
The reason I left the error numbers here was because I thought they were a
little on the high side (for Double Precission that is). I checked them again,
and the code too. True Basic was +1.00302 and AmigaBasic was .99999932… Not
to hot if you ask me. I'd like to see what Al got for 68000 and AmigaBasic. (sb
about the same).
BTW: TrueBasic will NOT allow you to force a default to variable type. It will
allow only numbers or strings. For numbers the compiler selects what it will
be, double, single, etc. So for the Benchmark it probably was using singles.
Plus the functions WILL only carry a ten digit accurracy. *** Take note anyone
looking into TB. ***
