While Ethan has you in this mood, can I ask a perhaps tangential question?
A number of people have wondered to me about why the 32-bit CPUs often will
not run games designed for 16-bit A500 systems (many will, of course, but
some won't). I'd _like_ to have a repeat of the technical explanations for
potential incompatibility between 68030 and 68000 again, if that's possible
-I vaguely recall it had something to do with memory addressing in some
fashion. If this doesn't make any sense, just ignore it. 🙂

Exactly…some game authors used the top 4 bits of address data for
things other than addresses. On the 68000 this caused no harm, on a full
32bit chip…it crashes the machine.
