#Uploading
2 messages in this thread
Hi, I have been trying to upload a file for the last half hour, without
any luck. I am having trouble with the software finding the file that I
wish to upload. I have told it where to look, and changed my "send" dir to
the proper path. (I am using Diga!). After picking the file type (Bianary
is what I've been choosing, hope that is right), I am asked for a file name
for my computer. I supply the name, and then am told that the file cannot
be accessed. I am completly puzzled…. Any insights?? I have some really
nice digitized IFF pictures with a Medieval theme, and would like to share
them with the forum…. Hope you have a better handle on this stuff than
I do!
Thanks,
Bob Felts.
Bob,
I'm not particularly familiar with Diga!, but it sounds to me like you
are trying to upload using Compuserve B protocol. When Compuserve asks you
for the file name for your computer, type in the full name of the file
including the _path_, like "df0:pics/medieval.lzh".
BTW, you guessed correctly that the file type should be specified as
binary.
Hope this helps….
