Mike, beware of internal ram expansion on the 500. You're much safer with an external box that has its' own power supply. Marlene

Thanks for the reply, Marlene. It looks like that's the way I will go. Since the external unit isn't that much more, I don't see any point in taking chances. I was just hoping to avoid hanging another box on the 500. Mike
