Is any other poor soul out there using Avery's LabelPro software
with A-Max II? I recently got the software package after attempting to sell
my Bridgeboard (still haven't) and thus my Avery Laser LabelPro software
for the PC.
The software works great, but a "Save" or "Save As" command causes
a system error every time. It does bring up the requester letting you put
in the file name and such, and starts to save but quits. I tried it under
Multifinder and instead of causing a system error it brought up a screen
saying that the program unexpectedly quit. Sounds like a software-related
problem, but….
I can't get to my friend's Mac for awhile, so I'm stumped. The
version is 1.01, the latest. Avery is shipping me a copy of vers. 1.0 that
I'll have tomorrow, I'll try that next. By the way, I've tried EVERY
possible config option under A-Max II. I also tried it under Finder 6.0,
6.05 and 6.07.
