Hi , I install the 2.04 rom im my A2000 (it's getting worst) .I have problem with my ICD controller, well now the Supra WordSync is doing the same it's worst because the SupraMount crash the system every time. The Supra is set to non-autoboot that's why i am using the Supramount. Same software failure #8100 #000c. I am using the V1.10e of the Supra software. Help needed and appreciated. Michel who's thinking to remove his not so good 2.04 rom………….

HI. :^) Sounds like you do indeed have a problem, however it's _highly_ unlikely that it's the 2.04 ROM. We've installed a large number of them in machines with everything from a 2090 (non autoboot ancient CBM controller) to 2090a and 2091 controllers, C Ltd non-autoboot controllers… and they all work perfectly. With and without accellerators. Time to find someone who knows how to trouble shoot those HD configurations; likely you'll find the problem there. It's possible that both the Supra and the ICD software have problems, but it certainly seems unlikely. Again, though – it's 99.99% certain it's not your 2.04 Rom. The only thing I can think of ROM wise is to check and see if your ROM has the jumper it needs across it for some revisions of the motherboards… this is covered in the ROM documentation; check it out. Thanks, The ROM is ok. I've get in touch finally with both manufacturers and they fix my problem(Supra was wrong version of the Supra software and ICD was a bit more complicated.i had to delete the icddisk.device from the dev directory ,call the ICD_formater select my drives and do a save on the each disk. Bye Michel

Michel, Dunno if the problem's in your Supra setup…I'm using version 1.10c of the Wordsync software with 2.04 on an A2000 with no problems. What other things do you have in your system? And why don't you autoboot from your Supra? J.R.

hi, I autoboot from my ICD controller.I had the 1.09 which was the cause of the problem. Thanks, Michel Beausejour

I don't know about the Supra for the 2000, but when I upgraded my 1000 to the 2.0 ROM I had to update the Supra software as well. The new driver works fine under 2.0. Richard
