I'm wondering if anyone can help me: I have an add-on software product for 3D-Studio, and am looking for a publisher. Could anybody please give me the names and locations of some of the larger 3D-Studio or AutoCAD add-on SOFTWARE PUBLISHERS? I would really appreciate some help on this, because I am not familiar with the 3D-Studio and AutoCAD market, and could use some help. Thanks in Advance, Randall .1200 N81NFIDO BCS IBM PC………….332-5584-….1200 N81NFIDO BCS Kaypro [f/*]…….776-1332-….

Randall, you've piqued my curiousity… what have you developed? – G

Thanks for the interest. We have developed distributed processing technology that allows a 3DS rendering to be sent off to unused PC's on a LAN. Essentially, its is a "distributed rendering manager" that puts all the PC (or other platform) MIPS together to speed up rendering. A small TSR sits on every machine, and watches computer activity. When a user specified period of time has gone by, with the computer "not doing anything", the machine announces itself as available for distributed processing work. If someone has a rendering job, they submit the frame sequence to our software, and if any machines are available for work (including the calling machine), each frame is sent off to a different machine. At night, when everyone's gone, some serious MIPS get crunched. The user sees what looks like a screen saver when their machine is running, and if they hit a key, they get the machine back as they left it. Our software keeps track of what tasks are being processed and where, so that the tasks the users dumps can be moved to a different machine. In any case, we would really appreciate some help finding an established publisher to bring this to market! Thanks, Randall

COOL STUFF. I'd imagine that someone would be interested in that.
