Wayne,
Sorry I can't help you with your Bridgeboard problem, but I did have a
question on a slightly different topic.
I saw on your note that you have an SVGA card with your Bridgeboard,
how does that work? Does the BB operate in the same window as the standard
CGA display? Did you have to buy a seperate SVGA monitor?
Vic
Right on both counts Vic…
I have a Commodore 1950 Multisync monitor and an A/B box with both the
Amiga's standard RGB out and the SVGA's output plugged into it. The
standard CGA display that can share the Workbench for example, is bypassed.
I just use the A/B box to switch between the Workbench and the
Bridgeboard's display. It works great! I CAN use PCPrefs to enable the PC
Mono display and go back to the standard CGA display if desired. I'm really
happy with the whole Bridgeboard setup!
All I have to do now is reseat those chips and hope I get a Bridge that
works EVERYTIME I fire it up like I'm used to having!
