if you find the current IP too complicated, I have a solution. And this
is serious, no sarcasm intended: regress to version 3.6 or some such! I
used that earlier IP for about 6 months before upgrading to 6.1 the other
month, and couldn't believe the difference in complexity! 3.6 is much more
ADPro-like as far as ease of use, yet allows you to access a sizeable tool
base. If 6.1 is too much for you (and it is too much for me too, at least
without a manual) why not give 3.6 a try?

Yeah…. I suppose it is. :^)
But talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face… everything that
was in 3.6 is in 6.11; it all works just like it did in 3.6; and so all you
have to do to continue with 6.11 is press the same buttons, in the same
order. The other features (a LOT of them) are there when and if you need
them.
I know you meant well, but I think this is quite poor advice.
